Contouratures

The artist has created this style of art which further develops the concept of a blind contour drawing.  Blind contour drawings are created when the artist looks at the subject and not the paper while drawing.  Ideally the drawing is one continous line.  Contouratures is when the artist uses this method of drawing to create a stylized portrait characture of the subject.  Therefore Ms. Braverman coined this form of art "contouratures."
